  • i just watched it again. i WISH SCSI was that easy. it doesn't say anything about SCSI ids (set by DIP switches in some cases!) or the HUGE multitude in plug configurations used in the multitude of forward and backward compatible versions (is it a 25 pin DSUB? or a 50 pin centronix? 50 pin micro-centronix? i could go on and on)

good bye and good riddance to SCSI!

  • That's insulting; I know how to partition and configure DIP switches etc. etc.

  • huh forgot about It, in some way, that still the case today...

Plug and Play since It has SCSI... 1986...

FireWire & USB did It the same way (early 1999)

I gees It's not only hardware related

Mac OS did and still make the difference...
