It's "Splash proof" and not water proof because the speed focus system creates a vaccuum in the body of the light when you're pulling the head foward. Otherwise, I -believe- you can take a Coast/LED Lenser light and put it in water and have it still work, as long as you don't mess with the speed focus. -Not sure if this works with yours anyway, but works with my M7R. I LOVE my M7R! :) 220 lumens and 1000 ft of throw in a 6" light. -AMAZING!

I have the t7 and the p14 but the t7 does not take cr123 lithium batteries it simply takes 3 AAA batterys get your shit together wanna be flashaholic
