Ben and Josh venture to America's only remaining major sleeping bag factory, in Haleyville, Alabama to see just how a sleeping bag is made. So much goes into making these popular sleeping bags. From the beginning stages of raw material processing, to the final packaging and shipping, you'll notice tremendous efficiency and skill in the workers at Exxel Outdoors. During our visit to their plant, we quickly noticed how much pride they take in the products produced, and after watching this we're sure you will too!

  • @Greatbloke Thanks budddy. -j

  • Well, that was fun, wasn't it? Nothing like a road trip to Alabama. I did not know that they were the only company in America making sleeping bags. That's pathetic, isn't it? There's tons of great sleeping bags out there, and none but one are made in the US? Not good. Thanks for the info.

  • @sabr686 Thanks man! It was a fun episode to make for sure. Check out some of the comments below, you'll see that there are indeed a couple other companies making sleeping bags in the U.S. But they are more of the high-end variety and produce only a fraction of the volume as Exxel. Thus we call Exxel the only "major" sleeping bag factory in the U.S. -josh
