wow the beatles broke up 40 years ago and were the #2 best this decade, but then again they are THE BEATLES

this list is garbage its only US sales. Show worldwide stats and you'll find most these artists are no where near the top anymore. I don't have stats to back this up but top artists from 2000-2009 worldwide would probably be close to this: #1 Eminem #2 Britney Spears #3 Black Eyed Peas #4 Michael Jackson #5 Nelly #6 Linkin Park #7 The Beatles #8 Kayne West #9 Usher #10 Madonna I don't have all sales to calculate but I worked out most of these would be accurate with wiki sources.

@steph2buysell its not wrong cause records accounts for everything singles,albums, its a bunch of stuff in one and if u were to strip it down it would only be about 60 million albums worldwide and again this is only US sales

Worldwide best selling album was 1 compilation by beatles with 32 million & Linkin Parks Hybrid Theory 29 million .

Britney's most sales are from her 1999 album wich wud not count in this decade.....
