Yes, it's the same (B3) engine as in any other (standard) Ford Festiva.
Mine rev limiter begins at 7200rpm.
& I don't know what 'they' say, but check my other comments on other videos...
If you make the car much lighter and make some light modifications, it's fast enough to be quicker then some 'more' high-powered cars...
I'm faster than a standard VW Golf II GTi, Peugeot 106 1.6, Citroën Saxo 1.6 VTS, and so on...
