Could you do the same job, with a 600 hp ?
-
isn't that near the spalding power station? i thought i could see it in the background.

soooo lucky geting to work with them cats all day
-
just for your knowledge we are also in Lincs, just nr sutton bridge!
-
looks like you need a STEINBAUER module, we run a (totally different) MF6480 with 5 furrows. without Steinbauer had to rev at 2000rpm to achieve 4mph, got the engineer to fit a Steinbauer it now runs at 5mph at 1400rpm. Just monitoring the fuel usage but we can tell its reduced it too.. Just a thought!!!

Wouldn't it be faster if one of you started on one edge, and the other on the opposite edge. Even seconds count and add up to large amounts at the end of the season
-
but it would be quicker if you dont have to wait

Como se lo pasa esta gente...

Why don't you just use a one-way plow and go around the strike like we do here in the States? Then you could pull 12 to 16 bottoms with a CAT that size.

Nice job! can't beat a bit of clay for a nice days ploughing! I used to drive a 65c & 10 semi mounted besson near Nottingham and out into Lincs, good fun times! At one time on the farm we had 65c - 10 furrow & simba mono, 55 - 7 furrow & power harrow and 35 on the drill we used to get some ground covered in a day! Good fun times, oh yes and a FW 30 for making a mess and nackering up the ground and burning a lot of fuel!!!
Why are you both in the same furrow don´t you lose a lot of time waiting??
