A quick preview of the upcoming app from Musicnotes.com for displaying your Musicnotes sheet music. Goes through a quick example of displaying pieces, switching pages, zooming, and a few other parts of the app. A preview of an early, incomplete build of the app. More features coming with the final version of the application.
I love to use the Ghostwriter Notes app I bought via majorspot[dot]com It's because it has sheets for music. You can compose songs easily just like a paper music sheet.

@MaxwellSDSU i would totally buy that. like if you charged about $100 for it and all it did was read sheet music, i'd buy it immediately. ESPECIALLY if it was lightweight.

Dreaded doing the Google search for "sheet music; app" just now. There goes my million dollar idea.
I wonder if people would buy this as a stand alone piece of technology. Something similar in shape to the iPad, but with a bigger screen. It's sole purpose would be to display sheet-music. It could then have a lot of the features people here are mentioning:
- An 'arm' on the back to sit upright on your piano
- Some way of detecting when to turn the page
- Metronome or autoplay option

This is great. How did 5 people manage to dislike this? Did they not understand how the program worked?

@frediedo can't you just save them as pdf's, and open them up as PDF's on the iPad? it wouldn't be through the app - but it would work

This is awesome! hopefully on updates we'll be able to grab any of our own sheet music from school or home, scan it, and be able to use at any given moment
