Ban Ki- Moon in visita in Myanmar

Il Segretario Generale delle Nazioni Unite Ban-Ki Moon è arrivato in Myanmar il 22 Maggio. Durante la sua permanenza ha visitato le famiglie che hanno perso tutto, e ha espresso ammirazione per la reazione delle famiglie del Myanmar di fronte alla tragedia del ciclone Nargis. L'apertura del regime birmano agli aiuti internazionali consentirà all'UNICEF e ad altri partner di intensificare le operazioni di soccorso e la distribuzione degli aiuti.
In questa azione di intervento un'attenzione particolare sarà riservata alla condizione psicologica dei bambini.
