is it me or does the plant take loooooong deep breathes? O_o

Whats the time span on this? Also, when you go to transfer the cutting to soil or other medium, what happens to the gel its growing in? Do you just "plant" the gel?

This is probably the coolest thing I've ever seen.

@davemartin8686 The video isn't fake. I've used this many, many, many times always with success. I had a monstera that got hit by a hard frost (long story) and this was what brought it back. I had the plant for 8 years. I move a lot and if any of my plants become shocked, I put them in this and they're 100% They like it better than soil.
To keep it from drying out, I wrap the wholes up with saran wrap and tape them. Remember, this is only good for certain plant types.

@solidacid1337 I understand what you meant now. One thing that I do know is that if you are shooting a timelapse in extreme low light you can still have images like this if you increase apperture and set your shuttle speed. I usually shoot low light very susesfully that way. I believe that is what they did here because otherwise you would have a trememdous amount of highlight on the cup .Sorry if I was rude in previous comment, did not mean to sound like that.

@superfluteman1 i don't think you understood my comment.
if the gel does anything positive at all it will be cancelled out by exposing the roots to so much light.
this is stupid BECAUSE it's transparent.
-
@solidacid1337 Perhaps the only purpose of the transparent container is to show that the gel actually works. If the container was dark, then, how would you see the time laps of the root growing in the gel? As opposed to just showing you the roots after the period of time it took to grow the roots. Would you be convinced then that the gel actually works? That goes to show you how much you know about marketing a product. Also show us a video of your technique and your garden. thanks

this is stupid, roots should be shielded from light at all times, whoever decided to make this stuff transparent doesn't know shit about botany.
-
@xArchAngeL01x this video is a time lapse of several days so its probably going to slep and waking up instead of taking deep breaths :)

@nageen roses are semi hardwood and so won't work with gel2root - it is only for softwood cuttings. Try Gel4Plugs
