"Ridiculous and crazy arrangements" - CM Lim Guan Eng and Chua Debate

The political secretary to the Penang Chief Minister, Ng Wei Aik has told members of the media that he find the arrangements for the supporters of DAP to attend the debate organised by ASLI to be 'ridiculous and crazy'. Although 200 seats have been allocated for DAP and their supporters, tickets have not been issued nor details given.

According to Ng, the current arrangement is the audience must register themselves at the MCA event at 8 am and attend the whole day function. DAP do not agree to this and their supporters will only arrive the venue at 4 pm for the debate which is scheduled to commence at 5 pm.

Ng hopes ASLI will not become an outfit of MCA and gives ultimatum to ASLI to ensure that DAP supporters will get to enter the hall where the debate is to take place. Otherwise, Ng said he has 'no control' over things if members and supporters who are expecting to attend the live debate are barred from entering.
