  • @xxSanadaxx of course I am haha.

  • how does this involve global warming?

Another reason to scare the human

  • @donaldmaull ok.

  • @balmainguy I dont think that the ideal philosophy to live for is to "look life in the face and recognise what it is," i think this would be an easy thing for us to say seeing as we werent the ones being suffocated and eaten alive, your paradigm that life is just a bunch of valueless odjects and events where stuff gets killed and a pigeon doesn't matter is extremley clinical, i believe that a pigeon getting killed in an awful way is not something for our entertainment.

  • @donaldmaull Most people laugh because they are surprised, thinking pelicans only eat fish. But ts better to look life in the face and recognize it for what it is. Few animals live to old age and die peacefully in the wild, so the death of one pigeon in a natural setting is immaterial. You can easily avoid watching videos like this, if it bothers you. Not meant to be rude, but I think your simplistic view of nature is more objectionable that someone laughing at this.

  • @balmainguy I don't believe in the sanctity of evolutiion, i don't believe that there is something profound about the food chain but that is not what i was arguing against, what i was arguing against was people being entertained by the suffocation of a pigeon and it being digested alive, whether or not this is part of evolution, which i dont believe in, is immaterial

  • @donaldmaull It is necessary to remind people of the food chain / natural world order. Its important to appreciate the intricacy and the interconnectedness of every species within it. No species should be taken for granted, no species should be considered expendable. From the emergence of the first single cell organism, to the apex predators of the modern world - all have their place. To argue that predation is somehow wrong, is to deny the role of evolution. What else should a Pelican eat?

  • @balmainguy I believe it is sick to invite people to be entertained by the suffering of a pigeon, I don't see how its necessary for people to be reminded of the food chain and natural order, the natural order is not some kind of ultimate good in the world, its something we change for the benefit of mankind everyday, not always in the correct way but it is possible to go against what you would call the natural world order perfectly rightfully, with farming and sustainable technologies

  • @donaldmaull its not sick or mean spirited, its nature. And its good for people to be reminded of the food chain and the natural world order.

  • @AbibAhkbar

    I hope you're joking, haha.
