The barriers faced by social housing tenants wanting to move home are costing the UK's economy at least £542 million each year .This will amount to more than £2.5 billion over the course of this Parliament - according to 'Counting Costs'; a major new report released by Circle Anglia. Circle Anglia runs the UK's only not for profit, national mutual exchange service - www.houseexchange.org - that helps thousands of social housing tenants move home.
