With fuel prices now around $2 per litre in NZ I decided to try and save some fuel by installing a hydrogen generator. This system uses electricity to spilt water a mix of into hydrogen and oxygen gas (Known as HHO) which is highly combustible. The HHO is burned inside the engine, hopefully reducing the fuel consumption of the car.
Hi James, is it still working? Or did you blow up?

Hi Paul, long time no see! How's your proa going? Yes the system still works, but it keeps overheating and melting the container due the the amount of current being used. I am going to have to find a more efficient electrode design to reduce the current draw, and maybe use a glass container to help dissipate the heat.
