@CatsShallAdore At the back of Grandpa Jones' book, 'Everybodys Grandpa.' there is a complete discography including recording dates and personnel. This track was recorded in Nashville on Dec. 8th 1965 and the line-up is given as; Grandpa Jones banjo and lead vocal, Jerry Byrd,guitar, Merle Travis, guitar and vocal, Eugene (Red) Rector, vocal and mandolin and Ramona Jones, vocal(tenor) so the bass is either Red Rector or Merle Travis.
