You are wrong fifteenmeeneets. I am from Winnipeg and going to Portland was a blast. It is a beautiful city. I love the trimet, powels, the mansion, mt tabor park... so beautiful and lots of cool places to see. Very different from somewhere like Seattle.

Really fifteenmeeneets.... Portland no culture.... no sight seeing..... mother nature made the entire state and giant sight seeing trip.... you obviously are not cultured or up for adventure or just never been around the state of Oregon.... just saying.

Portland is a good place to live but not to travel. There are no great festivals, little history or 'culture' and the best recommendations for sightseeing are a bookstore, a mediocre zoo, Asian style gardens which are not the best of their kind? This is a good place to enjoy daily life, not a getaway or adventure or leisure capital.

Nice. Except the shots of the skiing are at Mt Bachelor. 3 hours from Portland.
