This just proves that women still don't have much to contribute to society as far as using strategy/creativity except for mezmorizing men with their bodies so they'll spend money on them. I do know a few women into war gaming and they are usually very talented and creative and because they are gabbing on about useless bullshit like the kardashians they are actually great to talk to.

I dont like fitting into what society tells me I should: I play sport (on time at a professional level), love gaming, comics is a passion of mine and could easily fit into a Jock-type mould. I do whatever the heck I enjoy

Typical lazy hack journalism. I'd point out why this report is wrong, but what would be the point. Society isn't interested, if they did they wouldn't stigmatise gamers; no matter what they play. It's that this report focuses on negative comments (i.e. girl gamers or being weird), all of which have been created by a society who know nothing about wargaming/RPG's. Perhaps highlighting positives, should have been the focus - social skills, literacy/numeracy, problem solving; tactics/strategy.

ive been around video gamers, poker players and table top model/RPG gamers and what ive learned

1. RPG tend to have jobs and a life the hobby aspect tends to reduce stress

2. video gamers still live with their parents, constantly making sexual, and violent threats when they loose, and are defficent is social skills thought they will never admit it

3. poker players definetly the worst were talking major dirt bags

This report fails i know political leaders and Celebrities that play anything from 40k fow to d&d and live role playing yes u meet the occasional wierdo who just freaks you out or is just plain anti social but look at nrl union ir even racing. Ive met a wanker in each category why should wargamers be slegded out?
