held my pug up to the screen while watching this in fullscreen and he tried to lick em lol, his little paws were flailing towards the screen too

a cleft pallet is when the top of the mouth and sometimes the nasal cavity did not properly develop. it makes it almost impossible for puppies to feed correctly, and it usually results in natural death.
Humanely euthanizing puppies who are born this way is the best thing to do.
