Short clip taken on Saturday 27th February 2010 showing the horrendous new ten and a quarter inch gauge loco "Diddly Dee" on the Brooklands Miniature Railway at Brooklands Pleasure Park in Worthing, West Sussex. Original stock once consisted of a detailed Western class 52 loco called "Western Comet" and six "toastrack" style carriages all built by Severn Lamb LTD. This stock was delivered as new in 1967 in a blue livery although was later painted red in the mid 1970's. As one can probably tell, this railway now caters for the younger generation, although three of the original carriages are still in use today. The original Western, class 52, loco can now be found at the Royal Victoria Railway in Southampton.
why did they get a locomotive like that? a train with a human head.
