Yep. Amazing, isn't it? They go to church on Sunday, raving against evolution science, which is foundational for medical science advances, and how it's warping their children and destroying morality. Then on Monday morning, they trot off to their physician for their diabetes meds or their Lipitor or some laproscopic procedure or their chemotherapy. Why not bring their ailments to the church for treatment?

Hmmm...funny. So God, Guns, and Glory (or whatever his name is) is respecting some sins and not others? That is a huge problem. Video response to that in a few days.

i think your right , it was simply people trying to understand things. but i think early shamans priests and witch doctors recognized their power and took advantage. no long term, since the beginning conspiracy or anything, just the way things work out every time a culture dreams up a new way to understand things. religion is after all just another ideaology. god is a seperate thing. i am agnostic because i dont know. neither does any one else. you can believe what you want but what do you know

So I checked his page. He seems like a right wing conspiracy theorist nut. Only pro I saw was the honesty with his kids regarding reproduction. Other than that..."Americanized Christianity," which I firmly believe many Christians to the foot of Matthew 7:21-23.
I will make commentary later regarding one sin better than another. So wrong.

GodGutsGunsGlory777, search in the channels. You'll find it.
the christian god's morality and practice at odds? surely you jest!!! in reality i think man created god in his image. blind faith is a great way to get people to do things without thinking. a despotic leader's wet dream. i think that is why the romans hijacked christianity and made it their own. and it worked very well. modern day enamoration with the royal family stems from this CULTurally ingrained idea of the devine right of kings. people were indoctrinated with this idea for over 1000 years

I cannot disagree with you here. Man did create god in his image. although, I think god's origins were slightly less sinister than you say here. I think that is what religion became, a tool of the tyrant, however I think that originally it was simply a way to try to understand the unknown.

god likes richer countries because their collection plates are bigger.
god lets the disasters happen so we have the opportunity to be tested. some have to die so others can be grateful for being saved....and the ones who die can be grateful because their sacrifice made it possible for others to be grateful for their survival and soul testing experience..a win win situation
and we have choice...a gift...his way or hell....sounds good...right?
but the guilt...thats the part i really enjoy

Guilt is always fun :) Seriously though, the whole idea of the Christian god's morality and it's practice seem at odds with each other. It just doesn't make sense. Then again according to the bible, one is not to question with man's reason any aspect of god because his ways are infinite. Which means you are supposed to blindly go along with it I guess.
