facebook is rather ironic ...much like myspace and every other social networking site. I can remember a time where being on a site like that would have made you a nerd, now if you're not on it people wonder what's wrong with you.

I didn't mean to imply that it was for teens, but that I would have more time to bother with facebook if I were. And if facebook is for 20-somethings, then how did I connect with several classmates after my 30th HS reunion?

The difference is, I guess, my "peers" rarely post, and neither do I. Maintaining careers and civic duties, raising kids, (mine is only a preteen), keeps us busy enough. Our lives are already full of distractions. YouTube is my tv; I have time for 3 or 4 minute clips.

i'd say an equal amount of under 18 and over 18 are on facebook, ive seen just as many adults as kids
