  • the game there has mutch mor quality than windows i mean, at least for me that the sky, is one of the best i have ever seen even in new games but the problem is that it becomes a little slow because of that, i think that it for defaut does that in all lights of the game, because even if i put low graphics it is almost as slow as very high

the problem is that i dont know how to change it and i can't play some games because of that

  • @Renny0090 I just fixed the problem on my computer at least. I'm running Ubuntu 11.10. What video card do you have? If you have an intel then I know how to fix the problem--that is assuming that the problem is random squares/rectangles instead of buttons on the menus and the game crashes if you manage to guess which buttons are start game and start new game. It's just a very simple download from the software center, then you are up and running.

  • @1012522654 me too!!! have you solved the problem??

  • how do you run it in windowed mode

  • ok i have the latest wine, i have ubuntu, and i already had gta sa, gta sa works fine on windows on the exact computer that i dual boot ubuntu with, can anyone help me get gta sa to work with ubuntu wine?

  • Hey, how do I change the Screen resolution in wine? On my Mac I always get the error ''Cant find 800x600x32 resolution''. ?

  • I have a 1.8 GHZ CPU with 512 MB RAM and a 128 MB Nvidia Geforce Video Card.

Will this run on wine with my computer specs?

    Will it run efficiently?

  • looks like it works pretty damned well!

  • i have the same problem with a Nvidia GeForce 9500GT ddr2 195.33(drivers)1 gb,Intel Core 2 Duo E7600 3,06GHz and 1GB RAM on Ubuntu 9.10 with Wine version 1.1.36.

  • No.

You can't change the sun quality. In my old card i put in very high defenition and then i put in low defenition you know the diference? 10 fps betwen this both so the problem comes from the quality that the sun is presented. The sun in my Gta san andreas looks almost as GTA IV
