I know he was a student of Jaco but his stuff i don't hear anybody else do without sounding like him.God bless.BTW i don't respect Jaco for being such a drug addict.

That stuff killed him right off.I respect his music though not his 'personna'.

@gimmeagig He died in 2006 couse an heart attack.Poor Tomohito,He is one of my favourite bassplayer and I love his bass,u are so lucky ,I'm really intersted to his bass but where I live no 1 have it

I bought the Tomohito 5 string Bass Model without knowing who he was.Did some research on the bass and that's how I found out about him.When and how did he die and which CD showcases him the best?

Nice, but I'm really getting tired of seeing the same thing over and over again. Everybody slaps, everybody does fast fretless solos...it's all good and I appreciate all of them, but I wonder when and if we'll ever have another Jaco, I mean someone who will invent the bass guitar...again! someone who will take the world by storm like Jaco did. Perhaps I'm just dreaming, maybe there's nothing else to be invented on the bass (or is there???)
