Coming back to this after 2 weeks because I was so irritated at being lectured over a misunderstanding. Please, please, please re-read my comments in context, at no point was I debating vocals vs. instruments, I absolutely adore instrumentals and was specifically trying to defend this song against someone who said "music isn't about story it's just sounds".
Maybe it's all getting lost in translation or something but I'm arguing the same thing you're trying to tell me.

@PolishPowerFilms Sooo you're telling me you haven't heard the TSO version then. I'm not saying Epica is bad, I love them, but this is a very by the mills cover of in the hall of the mountain king. A good one, but they do little to make the song their own.
