Fell in LOVE with the 60 Ford Sunliner convertible when I was 10.
I bought one used in 1966 for $600.
It was black with red/black/white leather interior & had only 38K on it. It had been a doctors car & was in "showroom" condition. I loved the wire wheels with there "spinners". When I drove that car to highschool there was always a crowd around it. I paid for the car myself because I worked in a paper factory 40+ hrs a wk when I was 15 1/2 while going to school too.

Imagine that: People dressed up (way up) to see new, middle-America cars. Love it that Ford was emphasizing glamor and glitz for 1960.
Anybody have Ford commercials from 1968 and 1969?
