I was so happy that Ben had this moment of redemption. He was my favorite character throughtout the series, and he was not a bad man. He was selfish and confused, much like John was himself. He gave up everything for the island, and in the end he still wanted to stay because that was all he knew. When Hugo asks for his help in this scene I lose it everytime. He is so grateful to be given another chance and to be able to make a difference on the island.

@grevejp44 I would love another Lost, but not a "Butterfly effect" scenario, more of a New set of characters, problems, events etc, but still on "The Island".

This scene is so touching it makes me weep. Every time. It is not only redemption for Ben but salvation for Hurley. They needed each other in the end and each other is what they got. This show gets such a bad rap for so many stupid reasons but the characters in this show meant more to me than any other characters from any other show, or movie, or book, or anything else you could think of. Lost is the best show ever because the characters from Lost are the best characters ever.

I don't care about the haters and I'm not sure about the non-haters who just were disappointed, but watching this series finale was soo worth the amazing journey of six seasons for me.

That's how you wrap up a show.

I think some people are just too concerned about getting the answers about the show, and not looking at the answers they have gotten about life in general.

@grevejp44 No that'd ruin the series. The reason why people don't make a Lost Season 7 is because it's pointless. The ending was too perfect. Think about an Inception 2. Now how stupid and pointless would that be?

It's so sad. Even though Ben redeemed himself, in the end, he still couldn't let go of the island. He will be stuck in purgatory for the rest of his life, or until he comes to terms with it.

I know that this might be really stupid, but would anybody else be interested if they started lost up again but just have another timeline? they could still do the show but do a butterfly effect to it. what if jack wasn't on the flight? what if charlie didn't die? what if locke didn't break the computer and they kept the hatch? maybe they could involve the hanso foundation more or go more into what walt's purpose was. it could be fun.
