This exercise involves performing a lunge in a walking fashion, while holding your weights directly overhead. With every lunge, make sure to get your knee far down enough to be at an approx 90% angle (or more if you can), while the back leg also drops to almost floor level. If you are just starting out, try to go down as far as you can, but the idea is that you are not using your arms in this exercise to push your weight up. You must use your heels and core to help you rise back up from the bent position. Do not bend your arms at the elbow; if this happens, you are using to much weight for now. Keep straight up above your head and remember to breathe out with the lunge, and in with the rise.
