what would you base that assuption on if god doesnt mention it -in your view of reality why do you assume he even considered it and what a spirit would be connected to - it seems as you equate consiuosness with the spirit - and if you couls assure your self of it - you could turn off the power or erase your digital consiousnees from what ever machines might support it

@MrIzzyDizzy If you could turn of the power to a machine you would be doing as you do know with your PC, shutting down a data source. As far as God and the after life and our bodies, I assume nothing. God has informed us that we will have new perfect spiritual bodies. Not machines. not of flesh, but of the spirit.

@bibletardrage i agree ill give you two points and a freethrow - i was just speculating what it might mean to a beliver in god and spirits/souls etc - that said the importance of emotion in humans is vital - it is what encodes information and is what make life purposeful - happiness love etc - i think this is far from being understood and accomplished - can man write the program for that? hard to imagine it
