  • How is this not an incline press?

  • @brycecoad1

the bench is in the farthest vertical position possible. The camera angle makes it look like a slight incline, but the d-bells end OVER MY HEAD in the finishing position, not over my upper chest. Anyway, why the F*** does it matter??? You're just looking for something to criticize and i'm tired of everyone who comes on here and has something negative to say about everything. Call it whatever the F*** you want, I don't give a sh*t. I have better things to concern myself with!

I understand what you are saying. I think it's great that you lift weights. But why put a video of yourself up on youtube - in a public place - unless you are looking for feedback? I'm not attacking you. And I'm sorry if you feel that way. I just wanted to know why you don't consider this to be an incline press. It's cool.

i don't post my videos to get feedback. I do it for motivational purposes and to provide a reference tool for clients. I do not perform overhead d-bell presses in a perfectly vertical position, because I believe the angle is dangerous at heavy weights and can cause joint impingement. I target the medial and posterior delts with other movements

  • DOES HE MEAN INCLINE DUMBELL PRESS FOR CHEST, BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT HE IS ACTUALLY DOING

  • @animal1622

Thank you for your response. I understand your reasoning. And obviously there are different certifications and training approaches. I have no problem training my clients with full range of motion, seated, unsupported, neutral grip db shoulder presses. Some clients are incapable of doing this in the early phases for a variety of reasons. But the goal for this muscle group is always to get to: a full range of motion, seated, unsupported, behind the neck barbell shoulder press.

  • Nice !!

  • yeh but a 90 degree bench puts alot of strain of the lower back

  • thats because it was. hes strong, but thats a front delt, upper chest move hes doing and not a full deltoid one.

  • looks more like an inclined dumbbel press
