A few problems: you can't even see a man sized target at that range. There's absolutely no reason whatsoever for a chopper to be out there. Even if there was someone in a chopper out there, they'd never hold it perfectly still for no reason. All of the above clearly indicates a staging. The longest "combat shot" will never anywhere near that distance. Nice experiment to see how far a bullet could possibly go, but this definitely doesn't deserve to be in any record books.

This shot was staged between me and a couple of friends, we were actually hoping it was longer than it ended up being, but the choppe pilot was not very good and couldn't hover still and kept moving closer. if you watch, the chopper does move side to side a fair bit. not my longest but a lot of fun to try.
