  • they both work the same

  • @betenivanua The so called "scamming" is actually the other way around.. They want everyone to believe that the generics ALL work the same way. Some generics DO work the same but there are a few that don't have the same quality control as the brand names, therefore they don't work as well. Anyone can say "placebo placebo placebo" all they want but that word is usually overused by people who don't really have an explanation for things..This guy on the video just simply knows what he's talkin bout

  • @betenivanua Naw, not even..Just because something has the same active ingredient, doesn't mean that the "bioavailability" of that active ingredient is the same.It all depends on how well that active ingredient is absorbed. For example, I always took safeway brand advil for years thinking it was the same thing since it had the same active ingredient. For years, I kinda wondered why my headaches never seemed to go away w it. As soon as I tried "ADVIL" brand, my headaches go away within 15 min.

  • This is the best explanation I've ever heard. I often get into arguments w people about ADVIL and generic. I've NEVER gotten any good use out of the safeway brand while the regular ADVIL brand always works. People always tell me, it's the same thing but they aren't realizing that while YES it is the same ingredient, it could have different fillers causing the drug to not be as effective. Great video

  • the best dermatologist ever!

  • He reminds me of Taub from House.

  • some are the same(places hammer inside big wine glass) and others are different(smashes the wine glass with a sledgehammer)

  • I wish I would've seen this video before proposing to do a research report on this very topic. It's far too complex to take on as an undergraduate student! I was so happy to see you having fun with your visual aids. Watching your videos is so insightful!!

  • I work at a Pharmacy in Canada. It is a very difficult thing because the government will ONLY pay for generic drugs, and the brand name medication is very expensive--especially for seniors and those who have a low income.
