Blue Wish Resurrection Plus extra boss clear

Finally got this clear. This one boss is far harder than BWR+ on Hell.

First healthbar is no miss. I can do that, it's not that difficult. First part requires reflexes, but if you miss you can just restart so its not much of a hurdle. Second part was hard for me before I made use of focus mode (and knew when to unfocus). Third part is cake easy.

Three misses on the second health bar, I can do much better here. First attack is pie easy. Second attack is mentally tricky, but not that hard if you learn how to look at it.

Two (!) misses on the third health bar. In terms of skill I did far better than usual, but I also got obscenely lucky. Some tricks for this attack are to not move if you think you can get away with it and to avoid vertical movement. But mostly this attack is instinct.

Six misses on the final attack (more than all the other attacks combined). The final attack is always the strongest QED. One of the problems with this attack is I don't understand the pattern. I studied it a bunch in runs where I used continues and such, but I still have only a loose idea of what is going on. Stay still when under GUARD, I think its good luck. Always try your hardest to escape the storm. If you don't survive under the storm at all it won't magically clear up after being hit a few times in anything. You need to put in effort to clear the storm. Move in the direction the bullets are coming in (wut) if in doubt. Try to stay under the boss. Never assume the boss is almost dead, always try your best.

For the final attack I fucked up badly towards the beginning (before slow kicked in) and that's why I missed six times. I've done it with four misses before, but if your sucking you can easily miss nine or more times on this attack.

Get 1.1 or 1.11 and turn off slow, then try again. It's a whole different game.

Ya I'm going for a no guard no wait clear, it's pretty difficult (for me at least).

I'm kind of hoping having those options turned off will make it so that the extra boss appears after I beat the final boss.

Seems like BWRP is a minus because of the auto slowwdown. It just drives me insane. I know why because in BWR, MIDI files are used which uses less space and ram unlike BWRP which uses MP3's. Personally I like BWR because the whole game seemes brighter and less dull. No offence by the way.

It took a long time, and way too many retries to count, but you can now proudly add my name to the list of people who have fought this boss on one credit and has come out victorious!

Beat the boss with 0 lives and 0 guards/bombs left, but it feels good!

My score was 2,926,350.

The third form of this boss is easily the hardest form of this boss since you can't use the bottom half of the screen. Anyone who can no-guard, no-bomb, no-miss clear the bosses' third form deserves a medal of epicness.

The first form isn't too bad, the second form is kinda tough, and the final form is ironically probably the easiest of them all with the bullet slow effect.

1. Guarding does absolutely nothing against this boss. He turns invinicible whenever guards or bombs are activated.

2.I've never played that game myself, but I doubt it.
