well, the kick at goal on 1:24 looks like a miss to me, you cant see the linesmen, but if that was the semi final against france 2003, im pretty sure that one goes wide

It looks like Wide, because of the bend, but i took that clip from the highlights of the game (yes, it was 2003 semifinal), so i doubt the put a miss kick on the highlights.

The kick in question of course gets there, but it was bloody close. Doesn't really matter thought the World Cup us usually won by complete bias. The only exception was the 1999 world cup final. all this carter vs wilko is pointless, they're totally different players. carters mostly flair and pace, wilko is precision and immense D for a 10. in a dream XV you'd have carter 10 and wilko 12, or vice versa, either way theyd both make the cut.
