Listen to the introduction - it's got nothing to do with smoking anything!

I use to love this song in Kindergarten and my teacher would play it during naptime. It was so peaceful. Now I found it is about smoking weed. lol. not very appropriate now.

Fond memories of this song, my uncle had it on a 45 when I used to stay at my nans place when I was a kid - still love the song and the uncle

this song was the first song my children loved. once, when our oldest son was a very sick baby, and needed to go to the ER. the only thing that calmed him on that wild, night drive was being cuddled, while this song was crooned to him. at the ER, they needed a blood sample, and the poor lil babe was even more afraid. but as i held him, i became aware everyone in the room was singing it along with me and my husband....i tear up, every time i hear this now, remembering that night.

I truly believe this song will never die. My grandfather sang this to my dad, as my father sang this to me, as i will sing it to my children one day. Saddest thing i ever seen was my grandfather singing this song at my father's funeral when he lost his battle with cancer. It was truly sad to watch a father bury his own son, but also a beautiful way to pay tribute. I just wanna say that i'll see you sometime soon father, but not today.
