@carreenw I see you really like Bryan Ferry/Roxy Music. I saw this in Cleveland. Ferry, opened the Manifesto Show with this 1979. It was fantastic. Bryan Ferry, tall and lanky with the red suit. Yes, his movements are odd. They are strange and Ferry admits he can not 'move' but I've always liked them going back to the first time I saw the band 1974 long before David Byrne showed up.Byrne, owes a lot to Bryan Ferry..

I interpret this as ode to every day blue collar man working hard to make it. I think they put too much makeup on him for this performance, but I love his David Byrne style robotic style. For the longest time I thought the lyric was "studied mortal flaws" instead of "marble flaws". My favorite cut off of this album.

The reason for the split? Class divisions.. Ferry was so up his own arse that his son became a cunt from a sperm..

How can you dislike this ?

What an inspirational band.

@jeehannes I'm trying to find it too! I think it might be on the Thrill of It All boxset... might be able to get a used copy pretty cheap.

There's a different single version of this song (flip side of Over You). It's shorter and, as I remember it, better. Can anyone post that version?

Music on the horn? Really?

Little slice of time from the 79 Manifesto Tour. Powerful tune. Powerful suit. Probably influenced/inspired Michael Jackson.
