Just a quick 4-minute clip of me testing out my new practice room. It's a simple setup so far and I recorded this with just 1 mic. More (better quality stuff) to come later. -D
@GibsonDude900 It's mostly ZBTs on that kit. The Ride is an A Zildjian Medium Ride and the Splash is a K Customs. In my current kit I'm playing all K Custom Darks. To see those, check out the video on my current channel: sixstringsensei Thanks, Danny
Hi there, I'm feeding everything thru only 1 mic, an SM57 into a Line 6 Toneport set to a vocal preamp "warm and clean." setting. The mic is about 3 feet away from the kit about 5 feet from the floor. It's an OK setup. 2 Condensers would do a better job as the SM57 is better for close-miking. Keep in mind though that the room is heavily treated and quite dead in sound. It's a small room, so you might be able to get a good sound inside a bigger room even if it's not heavily treated. -D
im forming a band you see and my cuzins boyfrend has offerd to lend me a multi track with an sm57 so i was just wondering becoz the quality in the video is good.
i will also be using drum mics and tracking saxes and guitar ect over the top
what cymbals do you have?
