http://www.therenegadehealthshow.com - First raw food recipe for the new year...
In this episode, Ann makes an awesome sea veggie and kale salad that has an Asian flair.
She also demonstrates some cooked foods we incorporate into our diet (and in this case, into the salad!)
Take a look...
After being 100% raw for two years, I recently started adding steamed veggies and some grains (Quinoa, Millet & Amaranth)-on the advice of my doc. I have mild hypthyroid-so eating kale, brussel sprouts, broccoli etc in their raw form was not good for me. Steamed however seem to be not only innocuous.- but much tastier too!
I have been adding these cooked items to my meal exactly as you guys do!! So cool to find out that you guys add them this way to your diet too...yumm!

Brussell Sprouts are my favorite! I shred them and make coleslaw with shredded carrots, beets, red onions and cilantro - YUM!

Can you point me to a video where you discuss how you're no longer 100% raw? Thanks

I loved brussel sprouts when I was a kid! I poured vinegar over them:o) Yum! When I ate a lot of cooked foods, I would cook them up with bacon:oP

How about getting some wooden spoon so you don't have to wash you hand so often?

I had brussel sprouts only 1 time in my life. My mom was on a diet when I was a kid, tried 1 and hated it...but I remember it was plain with nothing on it and I think raw!
