there's nothing sloppy at all here. This how this 6/8 is inflected. It takes a lot of listening for Western ears to feel at home in it. (Especially if they think the Africans are doing it "wrong" to start with.) Most Westerners never get it. Malian music does taste different to Guinean.

@crazygnomes What's slooppy here mate?? this is traditional playing with incredible groove and fantastic sounds.Relax and listen to it with your all body.If you don't understand it i can't say anything else.

They call it Suku there in Mali, but if you study Guinee it sounds very similar...

Hi,
The lead drummer in the white shirt is Siaka. The konkoni player in the green is, "MC" (he also does hip hop/ rap). The dunun players name I will post later. Hope this helps!

O.K. Siaka Dumbia is his full name, The dununba player is Morike.
