Dark Ambient Music - When Children Sleep

A Video Poem

I had shot this footage a couple of weeks after shooting the images for the FOUR video on my Alacazam channel. I really like the effect I had gotten, so I decided to try again. I used the same Olympus C3000 so I could get that grainy video quality. I removed the color and boosted the exposure. I edited four 30 second clips into a loop and then did the soundtrack. Not as dark as it could have been musically but still dark enough. I wrote this poem in 2000 and used it as liner notes for my first Bertrom Cabot Jr. release, WHEN CHILDREN SLEEP. I want to thank my friend Sonja, she mentioned some things that got me thinking about life and all the parts of this video just seemed to come together as a result.
