COMMENTS IN ENGLISH OR HUNGARIAN ONLY PLEASE! OTHERS SUBJECT TO DELETION!

The Székely or Szekler people (Hungarian: Székely, Romanian: Secui, German: Szekler, Latin: Siculi), are a Hungarian-speaking ethnic group. They are an ethnic subgroup of the Hungarian nation. It is now generally accepted that they are true Hungarians, or Magyars. However their ethnic origins are disputed.

  • All the neighbours of Hungary are fed up with Magyar arogance and lies.

As a matter of fact, I think that Magyars act like bastards, trying to claim the descendance from Huns, and a lot of other shit and confusion.

Magyars and Sekelys, stay where you are and keep the mouth shut.

  • @ceghevaramea I don't believe anything you have said here. Present proof or evidence, then I MIGHT believe you, depending on your source(s) of info. It's natural that you would think that others are "fed up" with Hungary, because YOU hate Hungary so much. I'v e viewed your video preferences on your channel, and there is not even ONE video that favors Hungary.

  • @ceghevaramea We are not "trying to claim the descendance from Huns", we claim a brotherly affiliation to them, and this claim is supported by scientific evidence, unlike your contrived version of the Origin of the Romanians, which does not contain a single shred of proof or evidence OF ANY KIND. The remaining "other shit and confusion" is caused almost entirely by the people and government of Romania!

  • @ceghevaramea

"OFFICIAL ROMANIAN HISTORY & IDENTITY ARE A SCAR ON THE FACE OF WESTERN CIVILIZATION" ~ huncutAttila7

Think about that as you ponder not only where your people came from, but, more significantly, wheere will you and your people will go AFTER this life!

  • The Székelys have historically claimed descent from Attila's Huns and believed they played a special role in shaping Hungary. Ancient legends recount that a contingent of Huns remained in Transylvania, later allying with the main Magyar army that invaded Pannonia in the ninth century. This was my last message here ,but keep in mind ,the history is the same for everyone.

  • @laurentyu17 This is the ONLY piece you've written with which I can readily and entirely concur. History SHOULD be the same for everyone, except that Rumanians have for unknown reasons felt compelled to concoct a new history for themselves. The rest is, as I've said, bullshit Rumanian communist propaganda and LIES! And, you are STILL blocked.

  • @laurentyu17 I think I told you several minutes ago to take a cue and leave this video's comments. I do not want to read your Rumanian bullshit propaganda and lies! Since you wouldn't take a friendly hint, now you are BLOCKED. Goodbye, and have fun with your fairytales and myths and legends. Hope you come back to reality soon.

  • @laurentyu17 (continued) ...proving once again what a terrible liar you are, OR, how amazingly IGNORANT and IMBECILIC you are! Either way, you and your stupidity are not welcome here!!!!! Take a cue and leave here immediately.

  • It is now generally accepted that they are descendants of Hungarians (or of Magyarized Turkic peoples) transplanted to the eastern Carpathians to guard the frontier, their name meaning simply “frontier guards”. Their organization was historically of the Turkic type, and they are probably of at least partially Turkic stock. There is historical evidence that the Székelys were part of the Avar confederation during the so-called Dark Ages. By the 11th century they had adopted the Hungarian language.

  • @laurentyu17 Source: Romanian Census

The relatively small and isolated Székely population on the border of Cluj County and Alba County (former Aranyosszék) assimilated more significantly during the 20th century than inhabitants of the more concentrated Székely areas.

They are estimated to be less than 20,000 today!

The Székelys of Bukovina, today settled mostly in Vojvodina and southern Hungary, form a culturally separate group with its own history.
