Entering field for round three, 3 days after starting to cut wheat, our Clayson M103 combine is ready for work following a short dry spell. This year has been one of the worst for harvesting, as continuing heavy showers cross Ireland daily.
with 170 acres to cut, there is 83 done and with the moisture content so high, the crop is dwindling in price the longer it stays in the field.
This combine, a 1965 M103 has spent its entire life in the Cork area, and was recently purchased for continued use in Knockraha Co. Cork
Yes were down the south of Ireland, in County Cork. She is used every year but we bought a Fahr M1102 last year so she would only cut about 70-80 acres now.
Lovely old machine though
