This quality is so good that I didn't bother colour correcting it.. I should cc it to increase the quality further, but I will keep that in mind for the next test.

I have found an effective method for capturing and rendering my dazzle clips in such a fashion that they appear almost like HD PVR footage when not in full screen (not sure how it will compare in fullscreen yet, as it has not yet uploaded).

This will also work for EasyCaps and other non HD recording devices. If this video receives alot of likes and alot of requests for a tutorial, then I will definitely release a full and detailed tutorial.

I hope to use colour correction for next time so that it may be EVEN better.

And remember to pass this on to any dazzle/easycap youtuber or friend whose quality could use a fix!

tutorials in the description, but it eats up mad space on the computer. Id say use this temporarily and then save up some extra $ to get an actual hd pvr :p

whats the difference from the HD dazzle and the non HD dazzle?

the actual dazzles are the same, they trick you with the writing on the box. I bought that HD one before, and all they do is give you an HD rendering software that lets you save your videos in HD. but you can use any free software to do that anyway.. like movie maker, or sony vegas etc.

so it renders in HD does it record in HD? right now im recording with the non-HD one if i get the HD one will it change anything? i don't get it because the wiring wouldn't change can you explain what i would have to do to get higher quality but remaining with the dazzle?

it wont change anything, and it does not record in HD. they will just give you a disc with a new pinnacle software that renders the file in HD, but it wont make too much of a difference, you can get the same difference using sony vegas.

I made a dazzle tutorial, its linked as an annotation but the downside is that the file sizes you record will be massive. Id suggest saving up for a pvr, which is only a little more than the supposed "HD" Hauppauge package.

whatever if it takes to much space. if you have a big hardrive it dossent matter. you can just buy a usb hardrive too no big deal ;) :P
