Hello all.

This video is about Dr. Bott which is a cable for the PS3/Xbox 360 and iMac 27".
If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

The video is recorded with my HTC Desire.

I have brought the device from Amazon.co.uk :)

  • @stuprint It is not possible to use 1080p. I have looked at Kanex XD, and the reason is: " Here is why: the EDID (extended display identification data) embedded in the display only accepts two input resolutions: 2560x1440 and 1280x720. The first resolution is not supported by PS3 and Xbox because the highest resolution output they support is 1920x1080, or 1080p. But since the iMac doesn't recognize 1080p input resolution, the sources must be set to 720p for proper video pass through."

  • i would like to play my ps3 on my 27" imac but the cable ur using is 720p ive tried looking for a 1080p atleast and cant find one. the screen is capable of 1440 resalution, 720 is too low. 1080p is standard.

  • @xGadgetTime

    Why do you think so

I think it is the same Technical Base

  • I set the PS3 to 720p. But when i play (PES 2010 / 2011, MW2) the quality is really bad. Why might that be?
