@stuprint It is not possible to use 1080p. I have looked at Kanex XD, and the reason is: " Here is why: the EDID (extended display identification data) embedded in the display only accepts two input resolutions: 2560x1440 and 1280x720. The first resolution is not supported by PS3 and Xbox because the highest resolution output they support is 1920x1080, or 1080p. But since the iMac doesn't recognize 1080p input resolution, the sources must be set to 720p for proper video pass through."

I set the PS3 to 720p. But when i play (PES 2010 / 2011, MW2) the quality is really bad. Why might that be?
Do you need a HDMI cable to connect the ps3 to dr bott?

hi there i would really appreciate if you helped me out with this.. I just got the same dr.bott from amazon.. before I connected it to my imac i changed the resolution on the xbox to 720p as thats the resolution it supports.. and now when i connect everything up and press 'command f2' and nothing happens? is there something that i have to set up on the imac with the resolution? this is so frustrating.. thannnnks
