Before becoming Kone roped hydraulic elevators, what were they before modernization?
-
That elevator had an "electronic eye" sensor, I know that sensors between the doors have come a long way to help keep the doors from bumping into people. Explain to me what type of sensors for the doors are used.

looks like a very nice elevator, I like the fixtures

Check out the cruise ship elevators on iceprincess29's explorer of the seas elevator.Algeeter's elevator ride on radiance of the seas. philamike's In an elevator on freedom of the seas. These ships are operated by Royal caribbean cruise line and are made by KONE.

They were Dover inground hydraulic elevators.

I know that this is called the electronic eye sensor, but it's actually a strip of infrared light that reopens the door when it opens.

So do I, since they're Epco fixtures, which are of very nice quality.

Yes, level 4 is locked, because of offices, and level B is served by the locked off service elevator.
