Tip: Generally speaking, ANY B-movie that ends in the word "squad" is guaranteed to be a crap classic. "The Doll Squad" is no exception. Legendarily flamboyant grade-Z director Ted V. Mikels ("The Corpse Grinders", "The Astro Zombies") has always claimed that this movie was the inspiration for TV's "Charlie's Angels" and for once it's not outside the realm of possibility that maybe he's right. Russ Meyer icon Tura Satana's appears here, but is tragically underused (although she does briefly appear in G-string and pasties). At any rate, you just gotta love the voiceover narration in this trailer, and the flick's incredible "exploding vodka" scene is a freakin all-time classic!
The red head leader reminds me of a rogue Naomi Judd!

I was fortunate to see a special screening of this with Francine York as a guest. It was a double feature of this and "Astro Zombies."
