The Bulldogs found themselves down with little time left once again, and once again found a way to pull off the comeback with a 2-minute drive lead by quarterback Matt Wyatt, and the game winning field goal by Scott Westerfield.

The field goal was a great kick but it would not have happened if not for that great snap. Giving my buddy Paul Mooney some credit...lol.

Wyatt co-hosts a radio show in Tupelo now with Richard Cross (Head to Head). He also provides color commentary for MSU broadcasts. He married an Ole Miss Homecoming queen (goes to prove that not only we whip the Rebs, but we take their women as well). Scott Westerfield is a Bridge Engineer for the Miss. Dept. of Transportation.

Yes they would have. Mumme could have been such a good coach but he listened to too many people that weren't very smart outside of him. Excellent offensive mind, horrible Head Coach or CEO.

I was at this game, leaving the stadium, we heard the screams, stopped behind the Field Goal post and watched the ball sail between the uprights.

I'm a kentucky fan. I remember watching this game. Still makes me sick to my stomach the way it ended. Hal Mumme's defenses were always atrocious.
