Love the DAO, it sounds so cool when it fires. Second best shotgun after the Jackhammer.

Just a tip -- go for the tracks on the tanks with the AT rockets, you'll do much more damage. There's a spot on the front under the turret that's actually a oneshot kill but it's super hard to hit.
Can also use another tank to kill in one shot if you angle your shot right, it'll strike a glancing blow off the front, ricochet up and hit the turret, counting as two hits. Haven't played this game in years. Brings back memories.

Gotta love this weapon, it's so good it makes the class usable even in infantry only servers. The fact that you have a 12 round weapon that kills in 3-4 shots up close, no recoil no matter what the hell way you move, and body armor makes you pretty much the god of ambushes and corners. The only two infantry weapons that reliably trump you up close are the pump actions and occasionally the G3.
The rocket launcher makes it even more fun, as well as a kickass long range option.

This must've been on a previous patch because the DAO has a bit more kick on it now :(
Just using that gun scares some people since the sound it makes is a little jarring!
