As a kid we had a farm here in Australia (victoria) and we bred cows like these. We had 250 with 45 on the side. Our best cow could milk up to 60 litres and the minimum was 20 litres per cow. Sadly the drought got us in the end but happy memories with these guys. They were placid (with the odd joker), they all knew their spots in the dairy and they never kicked up a fuss. They also knew when it was milking time in the morning and evening.
