@harpiyon in Greek it was Heracles/Herakles

@harpiyon what version did you read? We just went over the odyssey in my freshmen high school class, and that choice was between the scylla and some rocks that would've crashed the ship at an intersection. charybdis came later and was avoided?
-
Thumbs up if u think there should be a disney ride of this!
-
It was probably easier making the movie with scylla in a cave
-
kill the badgers!
-
could u imagine if charybdis existed (the one with the huge mouth) ?? that'd be freaky
-
Also, I bet that one dislike is the guy who kept yelling "TRY ME".
@TheCristianalvarez According to Homer´s Odyssey it was not a cave but a narrow passage with Scylla on one side & Charybdis on the other. It was the only passage and it was so narrow that sailors had to choose, would they come close to Scylla or to Charybdis? When she was hungry, Scylla could kill 6 men at once: she had 6 heads & snached 1 man with every head. Charybdis on the other hand, could swallow a whole ship. Hence most sailors got closer to Scylla, i.e. they chose the lesser of 2 evils.

its ironic how he says " ROW FOR YOUR LIVES!!!" but in reality, theyre really rowing towards their death.
