An army singing contest with a prize of a trip to Florida seems to offer the motor pool an escape from the sub zero temperatures of Fort Baxter. But is a singing contest all that they have signed up for? Firtst aired 3/26/1957.
I have never seen an episode I didn't like. They are all good. Sometime I forget Phil Silvers is acting in front of an audience; it is so slick ! But like all the great stars from the world of entertainment, he knows he craft very well, and he is very bright. What a great cast. Many of the stars experienced hardships and the atmosphere they create is witty and strong, but also palpably warm and inclusive. It's a special show.

Utterly unappreciated these days. No imitation can begin to match the genius of Phil Silvers.
