Having owned and used JD skidders on steep terrain, I'd suggest that the next time you need to take one down such steep terrain, you either have a hitch behind it as an anchor, or back down it with the blade low so you maintain 4 wheel contact and steering. We ran chloride in our rear tires when working on the really steep stuff. Glad to see you got it up and running again; probably took some sweat and anxious moments. Nice looking equipment.
